My tips for using Wood Textures Suite
- Watch the direction of woodgrain when cutting or using embossing folder.
- Creases are faint on the wood crate with CS. I’ve found they work better with DSP.
- When cutting the crates, cut them both the same way. You do not have to flip them.
- Decide which side you want to be the outside of your crate and have that side up.
- I ended up liking ¼” scor-tape to put my crates together.
- Add texture and sponge with ink to embossing folders.
- Check out Pinterest for different ideas on paper/color combos.
- Use light ink colors on dark wood and dark ink colors on light wood.
- Use the crate to make different things such as a basket, bench, baby crib, etc.
